cameron + dave

Brent and I recently met up with Cameron and Dave, a couple from the Raleigh area.  They are getting married this summer. This duo met through a blind date, or at least that is what Cameron assumed. Shortly before Dave was scheduled to pick Cameron up for their evening out, there was a flower delivery for Cameron. The funny thing was, the flower delivery man was actually Dave in disguise (fake tattoos and all)! It wasn’t until he mentioned it at dinner later that evening that she realized what he had orchestrated. It was sneaky and sweet and the two had an amazing night of dinner, dancing and great conversation.

Brent and I had a great time with Cameron and Dave and despite the winds and very cold chill, all of us enjoyed laughs and getting to know one another. We can’t wait until their wedding!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cameron and Dave, thanks for a wonderful afternoon! Watching you two reminded us that it’s important to be silly and have fun in everything you do. Thanks for the smiles and laughs throughout the session!

sally + jordan

One of our favorite things we learned about Sally & Jordan during their engagement session was the story of how they got engaged. Jordan works for the Wrightsville Beach Police Department and on the night he proposed, he had a little help from one of his co-workers who stopped Sally because of a “missing” license plate. Panicked, Sally called Jordan to come to her rescue which he did, with a beautiful ring in hand. Of course, the entire event was planned by Jordan but he knew he wanted to catch Sally off guard-and he did! Thanks to Sally and Jordan for a great afternoon! You were both troopers to brave the chilly winds and your engagement story is so fun and unique. Brent and I are glad that we will be a part of your wedding!

From the first time I chatted with Jayme & Andy over the phone about their wedding day I knew they were going to be a fun couple to photograph. They are full of energy and I could hear them smiling when we would talk. I was right! We spent an hour walking around downtown Wilmington and getting to know one another a little better. I learned a lot of fun facts about their love story and the two of them. They met through close friends with a quick hello then one year later they had their first date. They even attended the same high school but didn’t meet until 7 years after graduation, crazy! These two live near Chicago, but for their wedding in May I get to travel to the Outer Banks and I can’t wait!

Jayme & Andy, My favorite thing about you two is the joy you bring. I can’t help but smile when I’m around you both! See you in May!

sara + scott

Sara and Scott know how to have a good time wherever they are. They love riding on their beach cruisers, playing with their sweet labs and hanging out with friends. Since they feel at home on the surf and sand, we felt the beach was the best place for us to meet up for their engagement session. Carson and Ryan’s mini engagement session was so much fun!  Jake, Carson’s son, is the cutest, sweetest little bundle of energy I have played with in a long time!  Downtown Wilmington was a perfect setting to our autumn session.
