We hope your valentines’s week has been wonderful!

(photo taken last year while in Las Vegas, I’m headed there again this week for WPPI!)
Just a week after little Tilley-Gray was born she visited us in the studio for her first official debut. We tried to get her to sleep but were unsuccessful until about 2 hours into the process, she is a determined little girl that does not want to miss a thing. Here is a little peek of our session, the first image was chosen for her birth announcement!

Glitz, glam, Hollywood. These are just a few of the words I could use to describe Torri and Mike’s big day. This high fashion event was the talk of the town I’m sure. Salt Harbor pulled out all of the stops which included a blue carpet aisle for guests to enter, more cocktail hours than I’ve ever seen at a wedding, a breathtaking bride, a dapper groom, amazing out of the box design, sensational food, a cabana dessert bar, an epic sunset, the list goes on, just take a peek for yourself!

Torri and Mike, the things I remember most about your day are:
1. How Torri cried when she remembered and honored her grandfather by having his cufflinks on her bouquet.
2. Mike asking me repeatedly if I thought his shoes were cool (or course they were).
3. All of the iPhones, I’ve never seen so many iPhone photos posted on Facebook from one wedding.
4. The expression on Torri’s face when she saw the tent flipped for the reception. (see the Salt Harbor blog for this shot and many more)
5. How incredibly thoughtful and giving the two of you are.
What an amazing day to remember, I’m so happy to have made your A list!

Oh my gosh what an amazing day Millie. Fantastic work!
I recently spotted a great recipe on Pinterest (which I pinned a while back) and decided to whip it up. I adjusted the recipe to my liking (which you’ll find below) and it was so well received by the office staff at MHP that I made it yesterday and today. No leftovers here and it’s healthy!
What’s your favorite Pinterest recipe lately? Leave me a link in the comments below!

j’adore ce blog!
Can’t wait to try this. YUM
This is my new fave and it’s called Angel Chicken which is appropriate because I was thinking something like “This is so good it must have come straight from heaven and have bits of starshine in it” or something like that. Seriously. My husband was eating straight out of the crock pot. http://pinterest.com/pin/141581982005191826/
Super Easy Crockpot Chili! And of course it tastes even better the 2nd day. http://pinterest.com/pin/123637952239875786/
ohhhh….that sounds good! My favorite recipe that I found on Pinterest is Thai Coconut Curry Soup. http://pinterest.com/pin/142074563214388157/
I’ve made it twice so far and it is YUMMY. (just ask Linds and Dan…)
A little sneak peek of some random images we snapped on our iPhones last week around the studio. Milo sleeping on the desk while Amanda works (an every day occurence), and our brand new air plant installation which was a fun group effort to put up. We love our creative and spacious MHP studio, incredibly grateful to call this home!

Cat – Fly me in! It would be my pleasure. I do have a rule when I photograph babies though: When the shoot is finished, I get to hold them and cuddle them and pretend they are mine. Then when they cry, it’s back to Mom and Dad!
Millie, these are amazing. I hope you know that when Luke and I have a kid, we’re going to have to figure out a way to get you down here to photograph it. Just a heads up. There’s no one else we would trust!
