A beautiful girl, a handsome Marine, an incredible location, gorgeous light… what more could a photographer ask for?
Melissa and Nick’s gorgeous wedding on Bald Head Island may have just been one of my favorites of the year. When we met for their First Look, they were so excited and giddy to see each other that they literally could not stop smiling and laughing. It was absolutely contagious!
Three things I loved about being with you on this day: I love the genuine joy your families had for the two of you getting married. I love the way Nick played with the new ring on his finger. And most of all, I love the way the two of you are completely smitten for each other!

Couples who book Millie Holloman Photograph for a 2012 wedding are automatically entered into this giveaway. All MHP couples who have already booked for 2012 have been automatically entered into this promotion. Couples who book and then cancel their wedding will not be eligible for the giveaway. One member of the winning couple must be 21 years or older to be eligible to win. The value of the Scooter can not be transferred, credited, or substituted for any other product or service. The make, model, and color of the scooter will be announced when a winner is selected in January 2013. The winning couple will be required to pick up their scooter in Wilmington, Raleigh, or Charlotte (wherever the scooter is purchased). Any applicable taxes are the sole responsibilty of the winning couple. By taking possession of the scooter, couples release Millie Holloman Photography from all liability and also recognize they are responsible for any repairs and maintenance. The winner will be required to sign a liability waiver form. We expect the winning couple to have the time of their lives on this scooter while zipping around town with big, happy grins on their faces. Void where prohibited. Batteries are included.

Courtyards & Cobblestones is this weekend!

We are back! We’ve been back in the studio since January 2nd and we’ve been working hard to design wedding albums, get caught up with email, return phone calls and speak with lots of new and happily engaged brides. It’s exciting in the studio this week with everyone buzzing about working on their unique projects for the weekend. We’ve been shooting sessions, printing images to display at The Atrium and 128 South on Saturday, and working on a really fun project which we plan to unveil this Friday on our blog. The fun never stops!
The reason we are busy preparing for this Saturday? It is Courtyards and Cobblestones “A Walk Through Wedding Row”. Join us for this unique bridal event, nothing like it has been done in Wilmington before. If you are getting married in Wilmington (even if you already have your event venues picked) get tickets to this show!

We are taking some time off after a busy 2011. Our studio is closed until January 2nd. We are kicking back, relaxing with our families, taking on the open road, unwrapping loads of surprises and filling up on sweets. a new kind of bridal show

I’ve been in this industry for 12+ years now. I’ve seen my fair share of bridal shows. They can serve as a great resource for brides. They can also create mass chaos and confusion. Who to choose? How to know who you want and connect with someone while you are in the midst of a cattle call environment? How do you remember what you saw and who you met after returning home with a bag stuffed full of information? It’s just too much sometimes.
I’ve recently joined forces with the best wedding professionals and venues in Wilmington, NC to help bring brides a more relaxed and enjoyable show. We didn’t even want to call this a bridal show so we’ve labeled it, Courtyards and Cobblestones: “A Walk Through Wedding Row”. During this historic tour, you will walk through 2 blocks of Downtown Wilmington with a guide to lead the way. You’ll hear about the beautiful history Wilmington has to offer and at each of the 4 venues, you’ll have the opportunity to mix and mingle with wedding professionals who have teamed up to create a real wedding day.
No booths and vinyl banners, just us… in our environment, showing you what we have to offer and striking up conversation along the way!
