Would Love to Star in a DIY Broadway Musical (Sponsored by Pinterest). She’s a singing, dancing, acting, fun-loving, theater geek obsessed with Pinterest and crafty do-it-yourself projects. If only they’d come out with a Glee DIY Project show….. Although equally handy with hammer or a needle and thread, the only thing this girl makes for dinner is reservations! Waiters often mistake her for a 12-year-old and ask her if she’d like to see the kid’s menu. That’s not nearly as embarrassing as the fact that she was a premier member of the “Hoot and Holler Cloggers” when she really was twelve! It must have scarred her for life because now she can’t stand country music. Today it’s all about Broadway show tunes, Indie pop, and Christian music (she majored in Praise and Worship Music Performance at World Harvest Bible College). She frequents antique shops and Restoration Hardware, always on the hunt for an eclectic mix of items that usually get featured on her home decor blog, Barker House Love (Iconic Southern pieces like Mason jars and rocking chairs are favorites, yet she likes neither ham nor iced tea!). There’s lots of love in her life: her best friend, her crazy-fun Mom, her siblings, her church family, and her puppy, Emma. They say Rachel is “spunky, honest, and energetic”. No wonder her favorite color is yellow.
