Food Lover, Incredi-Mom and Cross Fit Junkie. Wife to a law student, mother of a toddler, and busy Raleigh-based photographer–give this woman some caffeine! Cherished childhood memories include hurricane parties and marathon Christmas cookie baking sessions with her sister and her Mom, who also made her Christmas and Easter dresses by hand.  An incredi-mom in her own right, she cooks, bakes, paints, sews, crafts, sings, runs, and somehow finds the time to get in grueling Cross Fit workouts!  She grew up in Wilmington, and loves to travel–the Bahamas, Scotland, France, Italy, Greece, Spain…but India is the country that captured her heart.  The sounds, the people, and oh, the colors.  Turquoise is a favorite, reminding her of the ocean on a bright summer day.  But fall is the season she loves most:  the thrill of finding a twenty in her coat pocket when she pulls it out of the closet on that first chilly day; the stadium air charged with the excitement of her fellow college football fans (Go NC State!)  Her degree is in Mechanical Engineering, and before becoming a professional photographer, she worked for a company that designed surgical devices–talk about a career change!  Hates peas, junk mail, and that new piece of red clothing that turns everything else in the laundry pink. She loves Target, great books, chocolate, her grandmother’s costume jewelry, and anything else with a little sparkle and shine!
