Megan and Tyler are a fun-loving couple from the big city of Chicago! They love to cook and explore the city together. They told us they were nervous before their session, but it didn’t take long for these two love birds to warm up to us. Since Megan and Tyler’s wedding is taking place in Wilmington. It will be a destination wedding for them and their guests, so they thought it would be fun to take a stroll on the beach. I must say, our time spent on the beach was amazing and the colors that evening made my heart happy.
Megan and Tyler, today you reminded us to laugh with the one you love whenever possible. This will always brighten the moment!
The McGee family holds a special place in my heart. Seeing their sweet faces takes me back to memories of being in high school. They were my youth pastors through those teenage years. I’ve served alongside them in many roles; from their babysitter to Bryan’s assistant. I’ve watched them grow from a family of three to a family of five, and seeing them all so happy brings a smile to my face.
On this day what I remember most are the laughs you shared and the way you hugged with such a full embrace… as if your arms could not squeeze tight enough to convey the love inside. Oh… and that little alligator that joined us right as we were wrapping up.
Jenna and Russ are a sweet southern couple who are getting married next year. They wanted to incorporate something meaningful into their session so they decided to have the session at the Oakland Plantation Turf Farm. With a history of over 200 years, this farm holds a special place in the hearts of Jenna and Russ. And with the amazing afternoon we spent their I can see why.
Jenna and Russ, we will always remember how sweet and sincere your love is towards one another. Never lose it.
Megan & Anthony, three things that make me smile when I think of your session…
1. Megan, the sweet card you wrote as a surprise to Anthony that read to: “my future husband” on the front envelope.
2. Your inside jokes that you filled me in on (or at least one of them).
3. The fact that you chose to have your engagement session exactly one year from the date of your wedding… and knowing we’ll get to do this all over again in one year, just different outfits and many more people to join in on the fun!
