the pajerski family

Millie  |  Portraits  |

I first met the Pajerskis for a maternity shoot before their oldest son, Owen, was born. A couple of months later, I photographed their new baby at just under 2 weeks old. It was so much fun to reunite with this family and meet little Chandler, the newest addition to the Pajerski clan!

A few of my favorite moments from this session were the fact that we got Owen and Chandler in the same shot together, this called for a victory dance! I love that Alicia bought along a ginormous sucker for Owen when we wrapped the shoot, his first lollipop ever and he was loving it! Chandlers big grins and Owen’s little explorer personality made the shoot both fun and challenging. Getting to see this family again, so happy and growing topped it off, what a wonderful evening!

Great photos! Those boys are so cute! I really enjoyed the flow of the images that described this family…

Great session!! I love how they don’t always have to be so posed to have great pictures, sometimes families don’t understand that. They think you have to pose and get all of them to smile right at the camera. With this age of the kids I know how difficult it is, but you did a fabulous job! Cute family!

Love, love, love this album! My nephews are so sweet in these photos. You did a great job capturing this beautiful family. My sister always compliments your work and I can see why!

Engagement  |  Film  |  Millie  |

In less than a month I’ll be celebrating with these two as they tie the knot! For their engagement session they chose a location close to their heart and their home. We enjoyed the most beautiful sunset in the greatest of company and my most favorite part, almost all of these images are film!

Erin and Joe, what I love most about your session was the amazing sunrise, the soft colors, Erin’s piercing eyes, Joe’s signature hat, and ending with your sweet little paddle boat ride around your backyard using the boat Joe built with his Father!

meet the tharpe’s

Claire  |  Millie  |  Portraits  |

Meet the Tharpe family, this group is full of boundless energy and giggles! From the second Claire and I saw them get out of the car for this session, until we wrapped the last shot, we were all smiles. Their energy and love for life is contagious. Can we talk about their outfits?!! Too cute!

Perhaps my favorite part of getting to meet these folks is knowing that this session has been a long time coming. They used to live in our neck of the woods and now find themselves calling Tennessee home. Bethany’s been wanting to do a session with us for a while so we are happy to be able to cross one more thing off her “wish list” list and have a blast doing it. Now that we’ve fallen in love with them, we just wished they lived a little closer!

I didn’t think that I would ever like a family session more than one of your weddings, but I have to say, this is my new favorite! Hats off to you, ma’am!

edwards family

Millie  |  One Fine Day  |  Portraits  |

I love this family and I have for years and years! I’ve watched these girls grow up, photographed Lauren & Michael’s wedding, and now I’ve seen Mike & Melissa become grandparents for the first time!

Chances are if you’ve followed the MHP team for any amount of time, you know Lindsey. She’s been working with our teams for years in many different roles, from image editor to album designer, and most recently she and Claire became an MHP photography team!

One rainy morning while the thunder was rolling in the distance we braved the clouds and threatening rain to meet up in the park for some family photos. It was time for one big family photo of the entire Edwards Clan including their newest addition, Lindsey’s nephew, Aiden!
