Jamie and Brian are an amazing couple from Washington DC who actually met through back in 2008. When Brent and I met up with Jamie and Brian on the wedding day, we were pumped because we knew it would be a great time. Friends and family came from all over to share in the celebration of this couple. The ceremony was beautiful and intimate and the reception was non-stop with heart-felt words and some serious dance moves!

Jamie and Brian, it was such a pleasure working with both of you on your wedding day! One of the things that resonates in my mind when I look back on your day is the deep connection you have with one another and your families. Seeing you interact with your loved ones and share in such sweet moments gave us great joy to experience and capture. We wish you many, many years of happiness together!

And a BIG thanks to everyone involved in making Jamie and Brian’s day unforgettable!

The Nicholson Family

I met the sweet Nicholson family this summer in Indian Beach, NC.  Hillary and Brett’s daughter Scarlett is one of the friendliest little girls I have ever met!  We had fun playing in the sand and putting our feet in the water as the sun set.  This little girl was just as content playing with sea oats as she was playing with her Paddington Bear.  I mean, look at that big smile!  How can you not melt?

Hillary and Brett, you guys are so much fun!  Thank you for sharing your little Scarlett with me for the evening!

If we could describe Sara and Scott in three words (one is just too difficult) it would be: adventurous, thoughtful and joyful. Brent and I traveled to the quaint, little town of Buxton, NC which sits along the Outer Banks. The day was quite beautiful and a blustery one too, so much so that things had to be shifted around. Of course, if you know Sara and Scott and their easy-going mindset, then you know that they sailed through the day like kites in the wind. Family and friends sat nestled amongst the canopy of trees during the ceremony and enjoyed some chuckle-inducing moments. Even Sara and Scott’s beloved dogs were a part of the wedding!

The day continued with their reception taking place at a beach house that overlooked the water. Not only did we love working with Sara and Scott but we loved their guests too! Everyone was so much fun and fearless when it came to showing off their dance moves. And if the night couldn’t get any better the newlyweds and a handful of their guests decided to jump in the pool!

Sara and Scott, we cannot thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to work with you! Brent and I adore both of you and we admire the way you live life. The way you share in the excitement of whatever you are doing with those you love is awesome to see and experience. Much love to both you!

We would also like to say thank you to everyone who “rolled with punches” and made sure Sara and Scott had a wonderful day!

Katie and Austin are an amazing couple full of fun and adventure! Not only do they enjoy having a good time, but they make sure whatever they are doing, they are with the ones they cherish the most. Their wedding took place in good old Wilmington, NC on a cool Saturday afternoon. The setting was the lovely Kenan Chapel followed by a reception at the Surf Club on Wrightsville Beach. Brent and I had so much fun working with Katie and Austin and capturing the sweet moments between the two of them!

Katie and Austin, it was a privilege to work with both of you on your wedding day. You are both wonderful and caring people, who clearly have a strong support system around you. Brent and I wish you much love and can’t wait to see where your journey leads you next!

And thank you to everyone who made Katie and Austin’s wedding day a success!
