This session landed me on an island with a one week new baby, a washed up wooden sailboat and the softest light ever… loving the simplicity and natural beauty in these images of this sweet family of three!
This summer, the Allen family invited me to join them on Bald Head Island to capture some photos of their family. Todd, Elle and Kinsley were enjoying their very first vacation on the island and knew it would be the perfect location for their photos! I was excited to hear that this would be some of their last photos as a family of three, as they will be a family of four in just a few months! Kinsley is such a smart and sweet little girl and will be a fabulous big sister! Hurricane Arthur was forecasted to hit the coast on the day we had originally scheduled our shoot. Luckily we were able to coordinate photographing the session a day early and ended up having beautiful weather and some really pretty light!
Todd, Elle and Kinsley, I had the best time with y’all! I loved watching all of the sweet moments happen so naturally with your adorable family along with all of the smiles, hugs and laughs shared between you. So happy you were able to safely enjoy your vacation! Hope to see the FOUR of you again really soon!
Jackie and Mike are getting married this fall in Topsail, NC. When Brent and I were chatting with Jackie and Mike about where they might like to have their session, Mike thought it would be fun to visit the spot on Topsail where he proposed to Jackie. Of course we up for going to such a special place, but what was in store for us was pretty amazing. The sunset that evening was breathtaking and it was one that we will always remember.
Jackie and Mike, Brent and I had such a great evening with the two of you. It was nice to experience the amazing sunset with you in your special location. We can’t wait for the wedding coming up soon!
