I’ve photographed this sweet family for several years now during so many of their big life events from weddings to births and everything in between, even portraits and anniversary celebrations. Around MHP we love this now family of 5 and their extended family as well, so it was a pleasure to join them in celebrating little Hattie during her first portrait session!
Hannah and Grey were married along the intracoastal waterway in Beaufort, NC. Despite the hustle of everyone running around and getting ready for a day full of magic, I stopped for a moment and took notice of Hannah who was calm and absolutely stunning. Brent headed over to meet up with Grey who was all smiles and ready for one incredible evening. There were so many great moments from the day; the way Hannah’s step-dad, Steve held her before heading to the ceremony, the captivated look on Grey’s face as Hannah spoke her vows to him, and the dancing–oh the dancing!
Hannah and Grey, thanks again for a lovely weekend. It’s clear how much your family and friends love you both and it was joy to celebrate with all of you!
And thank you to everyone who contributed to Hannah and Grey’s big day. With out you, we wouldn’t have these beautiful images to share!

Here is a look back at a poolside engagement session Brent and I photographed for Hannah and Grey. We spent the evening with this adorable duo at Hannah’s parents’ home. Their backyard was amazing, a dream to photograph, and definitely a place where one could relax and enjoy some quiet time. Stay tuned for a look at Hannah and Grey’s gorgeous wedding, coming your way tomorrow!
Our dear friends Melissa and Klif are having their sweet “minikinny” today! Here’s a look back at the recent maternity session we did for them. Melissa looks absolutely radiant (and Klif is quite the handsome fellow too) and we could not be happier for them and their growing family! I’m sure in no time you’ll see their little one grace the blog. Prayers from our team at MHP for a easy birth and healthy mom and baby, we can’t wait to meet this little one!
Melissa and Brad chose the campus of UNC for their engagement session because it’s a special place for them both, the place that brought them together! I enjoyed my time getting to know these two and learning more about their life, what makes them work as a couple, their passions and their careers. When I mentioned that I loved Brad’s colorful socks, he told me he designed them himself. How cool is that?! Everyone should go check out Brad’s company and buy a pair of his awesome socks, I’m actually wearing a pair right now and they are crazy comfortable, super soft, fun and made in the US! Check out BOLDFOOT Socks!
