Life in the Fast Lane. At Millie Holloman Photography, the pace feels a lot like an exhilarating scooter ride: we zip, zag, zoom, and speed off in new directions faster than you can say "Green light!" Want to come along for the ride? Our blog will keep you up-to-date on our most recent photo shoots, our favorite finds, and our craziest shenanigans. Hold on tight. It's gonna be a fast ride!
This Charlotte, North Carolina wedding took place at the uptown Ritz-Carlton. Ivy Robinson transformed the Ritz with swanky lounge furniture, an entire wall of flowers, and gorgeous chandeliers. Some of my favorite memories were the letters Stacey and Cary gave their mothers before the ceremony, a surprise visit from the Carolina Panther’s mascot, how Stacey’s brother’s speech had the crowd rolling with laughter, and the Party Crashers had the crowd jumping all night long! Such a fun time!

A little while back, I met with the Killian family for a session on Bald Head Island. This sweet little family was ready for an adventure and I was ready to capture all the moments. This session included a stop at Old Baldy, a search for fish at the marina, and we finished the evening with a beautiful sunset on the beach. A fun evening like this with the Killians is why I love what I do!
Stacey and Cary’s Rehearsal Dinner took place at a fun little pub, Ri Ra Irish Pub, in uptown Charlotte. One of my most favorite memories from this evening was seeing Cary serenade his bride-to-be with a surprise performance! After dinner, they enjoyed an evening with family and friends in a private suite at the Ritz-Carlton. Some guests graced them with both their presence and presents from as far as overseas. A fantastically fun night all around!
Congrats to Paton and Ben, they are getting married this weekend! Here is a little look back at their engagement session that we photographed on Figure Eight Island. From the good times we remember having with these two, I can only imagine what this weekend will bring. Cheers to the happy couple!
Bev is a dear friend of mine. I remember when Bev first told me she had met Josh online and I remember the first time I met him. I knew right away that Josh was an incredibly sweet guy and just the kind of guy Bev needed. Someone who could handle a strong willed independent woman but someone who was also full of fun and laughter. That’s these two! It was such an honor to be there for them to photograph their big day and watch another chapter in their story begin. Bev and Josh, I can’t to see what life holds for the two of you!
