The evening before this session took place we got
rained poured out. Buckets of rain, thunder, lightning, scary dark clouds. Sometimes in life when things don’t work out… you get something better. That’s this session! This family does not live anywhere near NC so we rescheduled for the next day and I lucked out with an even better location. Can we talk about these kids too? So adorable, model status!
I’ve photographed this sweet family for several years now during so many of their big life events from weddings to births and everything in between, even portraits and anniversary celebrations. Around MHP we love this now family of 5 and their extended family as well, so it was a pleasure to join them in celebrating little Hattie during her first portrait session!
I first met the Lee family when Rawls, their first child was just a little guy. Now they are a family of four so it was a blast to finally get to meet Teague and work with these guys again. We started out the session letting them play with their grandfather’s old trucks that he had when he was a kid. Then we played “tickle tackle” and headed out for a boat ride. We could not have asked for a better ending to this session. Loving the joy and energy in these shots! Love this family!
This session landed me on an island with a one week new baby, a washed up wooden sailboat and the softest light ever… loving the simplicity and natural beauty in these images of this sweet family of three!
When I first met the Pajerski family they were a party of two with one little guy on the way. Now several years have past and they’ve grown to a party of five! It’s been so much fun to watch their little family grow and photograph them along the way. I recently spent an afternoon with them in their home documenting life with their newest addition to the family, a sweet little girl! Meet Nina… she is the happiest little baby around!
Thanks to your sweet family for allowing me to be your photographer through the years. It’s been a joy to watch you guys grow! I was just looking back at our last session from the Fall of 2012 and seeing how much the kids have grown made me smile. I remember photographing everyone piled onto your bed on the very first newborn session with Owen and puppy Lucy… it’s now much more energetic and challenging to photograph with three bouncing kiddos aboard!
