mcgee family

Millie  |  Portraits  |

The McGee family holds a special place in my heart. Seeing their sweet faces takes me back to memories of being in high school. They were my youth pastors through those teenage years. I’ve served alongside them in many roles; from their babysitter to Bryan’s assistant. I’ve watched them grow from a family of three to a family of five, and seeing them all so happy brings a smile to my face.

On this day what I remember most are the laughs you shared and the way you hugged with such a full embrace… as if your arms could not squeeze tight enough to convey the love inside. Oh…  and that little alligator that joined us right as we were wrapping up.

I’m late to the party with these. But, let me say… “Millie, you’re my hero!”

Wow! What an amazing set of photographs. My favorite is the one of the mom + son on the bench with that gorgeous sunflare.

wilharm family

Millie  |  Portraits  |

I’ve had the awesome opportunity to be invited into the Wilharms life since the birth of their daughter, Addison. Each year I get the opportunity to get to know them better and watch their sweet children grow. This is one thing I love most about my job, building relationships, watching a family grow, getting to know them more and more and brainstorming new ideas for their session each time.

2. Hudson’s sweet and adorable grin.
3. How Adi and Hudson would zip by me on their scooters giggling loudly without a care in the world.
4. Mom and Dad taking the time to love, hug and get a shot of just the two of them even. amidst our crazy little moments.
5. How completely happy and perfect their little family really is.

Love them all, but this last picture makes me feel like I am totally in the moment. Also, I wish I had a fairy costume that I could wear.
