Deana and Patrick are getting married this fall and Brent and I can’t wait for their wedding! What could be a better start to a love story than a blind date? How about a blind date arranged by your parents! This is exactly how Deana and Patrick met at a local restaurant in Wilmington.
Their story includes cooking, enjoying concerts, evening bonfires and traveling together to experience different cultures. Brent and I have a lot in common with this adorable pair and getting to know them during the engagement session was awesome. They were daring, trusting and knew how to enjoy the moments as they came!
Happy Anniversary to Abi and Michael! Two people that I love dearly and a wedding day I won’t soon forget. Your wedding day was truly magical and looking back on it brought many smiles to my face.
I’m also really excited to announce that this was my first wedding ever published in Martha Stewart Magazine. It was released in print late last year and that’s why I haven’t shared it with you until now!
Three things I remember most about your wedding day are 1. Your sweet tears at the altar while you said your vows. 2. Guests thoughtfully selecting leaves from the garden to create your guestbook, such a fun idea from Salt Harbor, especially with Michael’s love for landscaping! 3. How beautifully breathtaking Abi was on this day. I look back on this wedding with such fond memories, I always will!

When I first met the Pajerski family they were a party of two with one little guy on the way. Now several years have past and they’ve grown to a party of five! It’s been so much fun to watch their little family grow and photograph them along the way. I recently spent an afternoon with them in their home documenting life with their newest addition to the family, a sweet little girl! Meet Nina… she is the happiest little baby around!
Thanks to your sweet family for allowing me to be your photographer through the years. It’s been a joy to watch you guys grow! I was just looking back at our last session from the Fall of 2012 and seeing how much the kids have grown made me smile. I remember photographing everyone piled onto your bed on the very first newborn session with Owen and puppy Lucy… it’s now much more energetic and challenging to photograph with three bouncing kiddos aboard!
Ashley and Billy were such easy, fun, and light-hearted clients. I had such a fantastic time photographing them together because they were SO thrilled about their shoot. We spent some time getting to know each other, laughing, and adventuring at the end of an island at sunset.
Thank you both for being so sweet, easy-going, and enthusiastic! It was so wonderful spending time together, and I’m so glad I got to snap these special moments for you.
Melissa and Jim were recently married in Wilmington, NC at The Atrium. Brent and I quickly learned that these two pretty are amazing people. They are both sincere, generous and their affection for one another is tangible. Jim is smart and kind and his quirky, silly side brings a smile to Melissa’s face that lights up a room and anyone around her. Melissa is incredibly thoughtful and present in the moments. Together they are perfect for one another and we were so thrilled to work with them on their wedding day (we even got to be their witnesses for the marriage license which was awesome)!
The entire day was gorgeous and full of moments that were so special to Melissa, Jim and their guests. Most of the guest list consisted of family and there was even a special surprise dance for the children who were at the wedding. It was a day filled with grins that made your face hurt, words spoken from the heart and people from all over who came to celebrate a very special couple.
When we look back on Melissa and Jim and their wedding day, the word ‘authentic’ comes to mind. The toasts, the laughs the smiles, the love; all of it was authentic and very moving. Thank you to Melissa and Jim for allowing us to witness something true and honest. It was an honor!
For all of those who made Melissa and Jim’s day perfect, we thank you! We couldn’t do our best if it wasn’t for you giving yours!
